Where shift hiring stalls

  • The shift starts before screening is done

New associates are on the schedule, but their checks are still pending.

  • Peak season brings hundreds of candidates at once

Seasonal hiring brings more invitations and follow-ups at once. Import the hiring list and track registrations and checks in one dashboard.

  • Associates and shift leads get the same checks

One package for every role means paying for checks some roles do not need.

Warehouse background check FAQs

Can associates and supervisors have different packages?

Yes. Set packages by warehouse role and site, then choose the scope for each opening. Staffing agencies placing workers with clients can use our background checks for staffing agencies.

How do we handle seasonal hiring peaks?

Import seasonal candidates from CSV or Excel and send email invitations from the dashboard. Track incomplete registrations and every search’s status as hiring increases, with volume pricing based on your hiring needs.

How long does a warehouse background check take?

97% of automated checks—identity verification, SSN trace, national criminal records, and sex offender searches—finish in under 5 minutes. County searches depend on courts and employment verification depends on employers. Follow each search’s status before planning the first shift.

Do checks start when we send the invitation?

Checks start after the candidate completes registration and consent. The dashboard shows unfinished registrations, and automatic reminders help candidates complete them.

Can we add drug testing?

Yes. Drug testing is a separate add-on to any warehouse screening package. The price depends on the panel and collection site and is quoted separately.

Can candidates see or dispute their results?

Yes. Candidates can view their results and consent in their account and dispute inaccurate or incomplete information.

How do we switch from our current provider?

PROFID helps you switch by setting up packages, importing candidates and employees, training your team, and assigning a dedicated manager. Your team can start with the dashboard while any requested integration is arranged.

How much do warehouse background checks cost?

Warehouse packages start at $27.99 for Basic, $49.99 for Seasonal Associate, $80.99 for Warehouse Associate, and $103.99 for Skilled & Lead Roles per candidate. Court, data, and DMV fees are additional and passed through at cost. Volume pricing can reflect monthly and seasonal hiring.

What checks are included in each warehouse package?

Basic includes identity verification, SSN trace and address history, national criminal records with aliases, the sex offender registry, and global watchlists. Seasonal Associate adds county searches in two counties; Warehouse Associate also adds state and federal criminal searches. Skilled & Lead Roles adds employment verification for two employers to the Warehouse Associate scope.

Can we import candidates without an ATS integration?

Yes. The dashboard accepts CSV and Excel lists and sends candidate invitations by email. You can use it without development or a connected ATS.

Does an MVR verify forklift training?

No. An MVR is a driving record, not documentation of forklift training or equipment qualification. Choose screening for the actual role and keep equipment-training checks separate.

Who reviews the results before an associate starts?

Your team reviews the screening results and makes the hiring decision. Cases needing attention are routed to the appropriate person, while candidates can view results and dispute information.
